Are you Billing for Everything?

You do a lot in your office and there are some things that just never seem to get paid. These include vision screens, capillary draws, venipuncture, urinalysis and specimen handling.

Some offices don’t bill for all of these things because they “never” get paid for them. This is a terrible idea! While most of these things don’t really get paid, some do! Every one of our clients collected some money on these codes – one larger client collected $14,000 and my smallest client collected $1,100.

It’s work you are already doing so you really need to code for it.

What would you do with an extra $1,100 to $14,000?
